Simulates the patient monitor X and XA
The X-Series in simHEART replicates the structure and operating logic of the original. Your participants can navigate without instruction – they operate the device as they would in practice.
The X and XA are included in the Plus license X and in the Pro license.
Works like the real X series
Menu navigation, key assignment, and display logic correspond to the original – down to the patient mode and blood pressure interval measurement.
AED and Manual Mode
Both operating modes are fully implemented. Energy selection, charging, and shock delivery operate as on the real device, including metronome and synchronization.
Pacer
External pacemaker in DEMAND or Fixed mode. Intensity in mA and frequency per minute are set on the device, the spikes appear in the curve.
Telemedicine
Vital signs and ECG are transmitted to the tele-emergency doctor, inquiries are conducted via chat or video. This allows for training collaboration with the tele-emergency doctor, not just device operation.
Screenshot & Rhythm strip
The current screen can be captured at any time, just like on the real device. A rhythm strip is also generated at the push of a button and shows the curves in the usual format.
12-lead ECG
Using the R-ECG button, a 12-lead ECG can be derived as usual. The library contains over 50 ECGs, which also allows the upload of your own ECGs. This includes special findings such as OMI, STEMI, AV blocks, bundle branch blocks, and tachycardias.
X and XA are both included in the Plus license
With the Plus license for the X series, the Advanced is included at no extra cost.
