No. simHEART runs on iPad, Android tablet, smartphone, and on a laptop or computer in the browser. The appropriate iPads are already included in the complete package. For point-of-care devices like ultrasound or blood gas analysis, you can also use your own smartphones or tablets.
Yes. You either use an existing Wi-Fi or order the mobile hotspot right away. The hotspot is not included in the package, you can select it above in the options.
The simulation continues and simHEART automatically re-establishes the connection in the background. In the settings, you specify after how many seconds without a connection the simulation pauses. A short signal loss does not interrupt your scenario.
As many as you like. A control unit can operate as many monitor devices as you need, but they all display the same monitor image. The point-of-care devices are independent of this: ultrasound, blood gas analysis, 12-lead ECG, blood glucose, and thermometer can be opened on as many additional smartphones or tablets as you like.
No. No special approvals are needed, simHEART runs without interfering with your network configuration.
